Johnny A. Moore was born on June 24, 1978 to the parents of Johnnie & Patsy Moore. He was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended the Kansas City Missouri public schools and graduated from East High school. He has attended the Metropolitan Community Colleges, Calvary Bible College & Theological Seminary and is currently enrolled at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he is pursuing his degree in Pastoral Studies.

Elder Moore was brought up in a Godly home and he is a fourth generation preacher of the Church of God In Christ. He was saved in January of 1995 at age 16 and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost shortly thereafter on his 17th Birthday. From that time, Elder Moore was very active in his church and the Western Missouri Prayer Circle which he attended faithfully with his mother. He became rooted and grounded in the faith of Jesus Christ.

The Lord called Elder Moore into his preaching ministry in 1998 at age 19.  While serving in several capacities in the local church under the leadership of Superintendent Michael C. Warren the Lord began to elevate him. He was appointed and served faitfully as the local Youth President in 1998.  Shortly there after District Superintendent Dennis Lenley appointed Elder Moore as District Youth President of Jehovah Jireh District.  In 2002 the late Bishop W. B. Henderson, Prelate of Missouri Western Second Jurisdiction COGIC appointed Elder Moore as Vice President of the Jurisdictional Youth Department.  In March of 2003 Elder Moore was ordained by the Late Bishop W. B. Henderson as an Elder of the Church of God in Christ.  In August of 2010 the honorable Bishop John Mark Johnson appointed Elder Moore as Interim Jurisdictional Youth President and in January 2011 Elder Moore was appointed as Jurisdictional Youth President and currently serves in that capacity. He was the President of Evangelism and an Executive Assistant to the Pastor of St. Luke Memorial Worship & Deliverance Outreach Center.

Elder Moore is currently employed by the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority where he is a District Road Supervisor. On June 9, 2001 Elder Moore & Lady Latitta exchanged marriage vows and are the proud parents of four lovely daughters, Anaya, Alycia, Johnnia and Jada.

After much prayer and seeking the Lord, Elder Moore was impressed to launch out into his Pastoral ministry.  On January 5, 2014 in the dead of winter he made the leap of faith having his first worship service. The Lord visited him in a dream and gave him the name of the church and Providence House of Worship was birthed.  During that first service 23 souls joined the church.  This is the Lords doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes!
